Grew up in Guyana with the hopes of one day moving to America to write music. I’ve been writing music since a kid and professionally for about three years and learnt how to sing in order to demo my songs. This song was written about an abusive relationship and the insecurity abuse can cause as I come from a country of the highest suicide rate and domestic violence in world. I hope this song helps anyone struggling to leave an abusive relationship and find a place in the world you’re flourishing single.
