Hollywood Clichés by Lochlan Shaw

Lochlan Shaw is a singer-songwriter and composer originally from North Yorkshire, UK. He recently graduated from BIMM London’s songwriting diploma. Shaw recently recorded his Debut EP: And So The Light Returned at The Cargo Rooms in London, after he was invited to do a livestream by Hot Vox Promotions. It was released on all major stores including Spotify on the 31st May 2021. Two singles from the EP: Hollywood Clichés and Suburban Pariah were released on the 18th May and the 25th May respectively. And So The Light Returned has been reviewed by several magazines, including: RGM, Music Crowns, Stereo Stickman and We Write About Music. Shaw has also been playlisted on several Spotify playlists, including: Indie Landfill, New Artist Spotlight and Ditto Music’s Indie Hitlist. Shaw’s first single: Hollywood Clichés, has been played on Amazing Radio UK, Amazing Radio US, Radio New York Live, Radio New York Love Live and UK Talk Radio. Shaw has also achieved commended entries in the UK Songwriting Contest, and one highly commended entry. Shaw has had airtime on BBC Introducing in York and North Yorkshire, and has gigged and busked around the UK including at BBC Introducing Live, Tobacco Dock, in 2019, where he played on the open mic. Shaw’s influences include John Mayer, Tracy Chapman and Joni Mitchell.
